Why do the number of alphabets in a particular language is always fix ? Can more alphabets be invented ?
Each alphabet has a peculiar sound. Can we add more by trying to produce new sound . Can Computer do this ?
Each alphabet represents one or more phonemes, both consonants and vowels, in the language they are used to write. If you compare English with Hindi and the other Indian languages, you'll find that the latter have more number of alphabets. Computer is already capable of reproducing them through specific language softwares ..ie in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi.
Inventing more alphabets is not a bad proposition. Only you'll have to first create or discover a new phoneme in the language, which then will have to be pictorially depicted (by you of course!). The rest will be history!
