Need help planning a Diaper Party for my best gal pal..?
I'm going to throw my best friend a diaper party. She doesn't want a baby shower because she has everything she needs, so why not a diaper party? Can never have enough diapers. She never objected to that idea which makes me know she wants to have one, I just don't think she wants people to make a big fuss over her having a baby and I'm pretty sure she doesn't think people are going to come..
But anyways I was wondering if you can give suggestions as to what kind of games, food, and prizes I should have? What kind of time frame should I have for it. I need to start working on the invitations ASAP because I'm thinking we should have her party next month on the count she's due the first week of August..
I love doing this kind of stuff but never did a diaper party/shower anything like that.. so I need lots of help. Thanks so much for the time. FYI she's having a boy. If that helps at all.
Hello, ive never heard of a diaper party but it sounds like a great alternative to a baby shower if she already has everything she needs, because you can NEVER have enough diapers! We played a game at my baby shower that might be fun at this kind of party..... its the candy bar game, you buy like ten diffrent candy bars and melt them half way then put them in diapers and number the diapers have everyone pass them around and try to guess which number is what candy bar. LOL it was really fun. Another thing, make sure people dont just buy newborn diapers! Make sure people know to buy diapers for up to size 12 months cause, when i had a baby shower i got tons of diapers but all were newborn and im sure after he grows out of newborn ill still have at least 4 huge boxes left over! make sure they get lots of diffrent sizes and let everyone know what brand she plans on using. (I know some people are picky about the brands they want their kids to wear). For my baby shower the invitations were little diapers, if you could find some invitations like that, it would be cool. good luck, have fun.
