When did your child found a lovey?
Many baby books and websites say that it is usual for toddlers to have a lovey (most often a favorite blanket or a cozy toy). My 1-year old does not have one. I wonder, maybe she will find one later?
Three of my best friends had a little competition as to who's cuddly toy will win as my sons most loved....none of them won and he picked a random teddy that a neighbour gave as a present. You can force them to have a "lovey". My son had an attachment to his "blue ted" from about the time he could commando crawl to get it (about 5 1/2 months) to this day it is still the fave and he is almost three. Blue ted is getting scruffy from so much love, so i found him the same teddy in yellow (as i couldnt find a blue one) and he took one look and tossed it aside. So i guess blue ted will be the fave until he falls apart. (not looking forward to that day lol)
