when is baby old enough to sleep with his baby? (security blanket, tag, bear)?
my baby is 6 month old...is he still to young?
well it is really small...it is an elephant head with a little blankie hanging from it so it can't get wrapped around him! He just screams when he wakes in the middle of the night, and i figured if he has that then he may be ok!! I dunno tho!!!
Nancy, how old was he when he first started using it in the bed??? My thing is, is he old enough to move it in case it gets on his face, and he can't breath! I'm not worried if he gets attatched to it!
My son uses a blankie like yours except his has Pooh instead of an elephant. I actually encouraged him to use it to sleep with his arms wrapped around it so he is less likely to pull out his pacifier or scratch himself in his sleep. He now (at 10 months) likes to stroke the satin part to get himself back to sleep. He doesn't HAVE to have it to sleep but he does like it. He doesn't use anything at all at daycare.
