Terrified of being HUGE after having a baby: help?
I see some friends who go back to their size relatively quickly, and others who end up 2x bigger than they were before they had a baby (literally!)... I'm terrified of being huge like that... I eat VERY healthy... whole grains, LOTS of produce, and white meat... that's it! I don't eat dairy, soy, gluten, high fructose corn syrup, all the bad stuff.... I take really good care of myself.... I'm terrified of facing the same fate of my friends who did not go back anything close to their normal size post-baby.... any advice at all for me?!

Don't eat the kid's food just because you don't want to "waste" it. This is often what happens, the mother will eat the half eaten graham cracker rather than toss it out or give it to the birds.
Don't eat mindlessly. Don't tell yourself you "deserve" this ice cream because you're a new mother, or something along those lines.
Stick to your healthy habits.
Don't stay cooped up in the house on the computer all day.
Get outside and jog (use a jogger stroller) or walk briskly every day for at least a half hour.
Breast feed. Works like a champ.
My cousin gives people weight loss advice here on YA all the time and she's a deuce and a half, so don't take anyone's advice here, including mine, as gospel.
You know what to do--activity up, watch your intake. If you have always been fit and active, you won't have any trouble. Kids don't make you fat. Eating and sitting on your azzz makes you fat!
