Ideas on how to play with my 2½ month old baby?
My little baby girl loves to lie on her lamaze activity blanket and talk to her stuffed animals toys.
We talk and whistle to her and she loves to watch our mouths move.
We take her for walks around the house and show her pictures & items and talk to her about it.
She lies on her stomach and practices looking around.
What are good toys and activities to at this age (2-3 months)?
Sounds like you are already doing some great things.
Think about also introducing her to different smells and textures. We like to pull out the spice rack and let our little one smell the different spices. He definitely has some that he prefers over others. We also give him different things to touch, like furry stuffed animals, crinkly tissue paper and then we describe the texture.
We also play soccer. We lay him on his back, take off his socks and let him kick a ball toward us. He loves anything to do with his feet so sometimes we even put non-toxic paint on his feet and let him go to town on a canvas. He loves it and we have cool artwork to hang in his room and give to the grandmas.
Lots of fun stuff to do at that age!
