Buying a baby lion cub?
I want to buy a baby Lion cub, I'm looking for good info on how much would a good one cost, and where can I get one.
Thanks
well first you will need several acers to care for it's needs. in some parts of the US you can get exotic cats with proper care permit of course. here in TX i saw cheetah cubs in the local newspaper. they were $1000 each. then there is their diet. road kill is great if you can find it. as long as you have the permits with the county, they might even help you out with road kill. but if not then i would guess a full grow lion eats $50 in steak a day.
honestly lions still remain very wild even if properly handled. however i dought you have the educational background to properly care for and socialize a lion. i personally think a cougar or a mountain lion is a little easier to train. again all wild animals will remain wild even with proper care.
this is not a task for the light of heart. as most big cats can live 30 + years. and it isn't like you can just give them to the local pound if you no longer want them.
Here are some great deals at Amazon as well:

Ran (StudioCanal Collection) [Blu-ray] $20.44 As critic Roger Ebert observed in his original review of Ran, this epic tragedy might have been attempted by a younger director, but only the Japanese master Akira Kurosawa, who made the film at age 75, could bring the requisite experience and maturity to this stunning interpretation of Shakespeare's King Lear. It's a film for the ages--one of the few genuine screen masterpieces--and arguably serv... |

The Lion King II: Simba's Pride [VHS] $4.35 Another made-for-video sequel to a Disney masterpiece. As with the Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas sequels, most of the recognizable vocal talents return, creating a worthwhile successor to the highest-grossing animated film ever. We pick up the story as the lion king, Simba (voiced by Matthew Broderick), and Nala (Moira Kelly) have a new baby cub, a girl named Kiara (Neve Campbell). Like her ... |

Hercules (Gold Collection) $9.90 Not the egregious foul it seemed to be in theaters, Hercules stands up as an entertaining spritzer of an animated feature. The continual peppering of in-jokes and cultural references becomes less irksome on video. That there's no majesty or awe invested in the beloved Greek legends also seems less of an error. Also on the plus side is the bounciest Alan Menken music since Little Shop of Horrors. W... |
