I love musical theatre, but i cannot sing....?
Well musical theatre is kind of a passion to me although i have not done any yet, hardly even acted before. but im still passionate for it.
Is it possible for someone who can't sing well, leanr to sing??
Could i be in the group singing maybe?
is there ANYTHING i can do??
Everytime i have acted, i have LOVED it.
every suggestion will be thought about thoroughly.
Im not looking for a career in musical theatre, not that i wouldn't mind it. i just want to do it cause i love it.
Singing lessons can definitely help make you better but I'd also suggest learning to play the piano a bit because it'll help your ear hear the music better and that will help your voice replicate the notes.
Also, there are plenty of opportunities to act in plays instead of musicals. Look into community theatre as a great place to start in either venue.
Lastly, don't overlook the technical side of theatre. It can be a great creative outlet with a different kind of creative satisfaction. Look to stage management, arts management (which is managing the whole theatre), and directing as your main areas there.
