Can someone give me some activities for a musical 2 year old?
I am going to take care of my cousin's two year old girl for about 5 hours. She is very musical and smart. She likes classical music and instruments, and she "dances ballet" meaning jumps and leaps and giggles. She's adorable! Can you suggest some activities for her? These are some that I've already planned out:
Scarf Dancing - I have some colorful scarves and she can play with them, throw them up, and dance with them to the music
Playing the piano
I play violin, so I can give her a performance which I know she will enjoy.
What else? THanks!
try renting some ballet videos from a local blockbuster or something. make sure the video is meant for little kids though.
