After installing software -Error - Object Expected ?
I loaded some software for a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Computer system on my computer - I have Vista. When I went to launch the program for the first time, I get an Error - Object Expected - Continue message. I click Yes to continue and I keep getting the same thing. If I click no, the program closes. Is there any way to override this. This is happening as the program checks the internet for any updates. Thanks!
Errors like these are hard to fix and usually should be fixed by the programmers. You might have a registry problem and if you feel like it, try running Regcure, it costs money (there is a trial) so if you feel up to it, try it.
Vista also could be the one to blame and if there is a service pack two download (automatic update), it might fix this.
Finally, if in the error message you see something like "blahwhatever.dll" Google the name, download the file, and put it in the program files folder for your program.
