Why do we sing "Rock a bye baby" to lull a baby to sleep?
When the song is about putting your baby in a tree and letting the wind crash the cradle on the ground?
its really just the tune that soothes, yeah, lol, the words are a lil out there...my oldest doesnt like singing the words to my youngest becuz she understands the words now and thinks it will scare her. lol
