you can’t make anything of them

I’m hollow as bird bone

useful as a broken wing

shot down and shallow,

I am open to your attack

feverishly anticipating your

jaded and calloused attempts at rescuing

something precious,

losing light at the rate of heart loss.

In between a breath and a remorseful glance

tell me

tell me how I rattle the cage I left you in

and how I carelessly ruin your chances

with the flick of my wrist

and how I still hurt the ones

inscribed on the walls of my eroded veins.

I exile them to the depths of my fear

and I cover them with billowing denial

only to protect,

but i’ll forever want to be a part of them

and I’ll always want more.

I don't know what this piece means, it's really vague and pretty generic.
It's really frustrating and I'm debating whether or not to just.... aghh.
What do you get from this?!?!?
